Accessibility Statement
J1venvylix believes that the web should be accessible to everyone, regardless of physical ability or assistive technology. This statement explains our commitment, what we have done so far, and how to reach us if you encounter any barrier on this site.
1. Our Commitment
We are committed to providing a website that conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 at the AA level.
2. Conformance Status
We currently conform to the majority of WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria. The site has been audited by the Bureau of Internet Accessibility in Q1 2026 and we resolve flagged issues on a rolling basis.
3. What We Have Implemented
- Semantic HTML markup throughout the site
- Alt text on every product, hero, and decorative image
- Color contrast ratios above 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for interactive elements
- Visible focus indicators on every interactive element
- Full keyboard navigability — all menus, dropdowns, modals, and product galleries are operable without a mouse
- Skip-to-content link at the top of every page
- Form fields with persistent labels and accessible error messages
- Captions on any video content, with transcripts available on request
- Resizable text up to 200% without breaking layout
- Responsive design from 320px to 4K
- Reduced-motion media query honored for animations
4. Limitations & Known Issues
Despite our best efforts, parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. Areas we are actively improving:
- Some legacy product photography lacks descriptive alt text — we are revising the catalog to add it batch by batch
- Third-party widgets are evaluated for accessibility before integration; if you encounter a barrier, please tell us
5. Assistive Technology Compatibility
The site is tested with current versions of: NVDA, VoiceOver, JAWS, TalkBack, Dragon NaturallySpeaking, and full-keyboard navigation.
